[00:00:00] Iris Josephina: Friends, this is probably one of the most important episodes that I have recorded with someone because we will be talking about toxins. And I'll be sitting down with Susana Puelles, who is a holistic hormone and fertility specialist who's been helping women heal their wombs and live in hormonal harmony for over a decade.

[00:00:22] As a functional and Chinese medicine practitioner and acupuncturist, she helps women reverse decades of damage and replenish reserves to fix their cycle. Live pain and medication free while boosting their success at a safe, natural pregnancy. After overcoming her own hormone struggles in a high risk pregnancy, she committed her practice to supporting women throughout their life cycles and embrace the changes from youth, motherhood, and beyond.

[00:00:48] She works with women all over the world to achieve optimal levels of healing in her signature programs. And she's the founder of Yoni Sync, a herbal elixir product line that helps harmonize hormones and enhance womb and reproductive health. So in this episode, we really dive into Susanna's history and how she really decided to become a Chinese medicine practitioner and acupuncturist.

[00:01:12] We dive very deep into what glyphosate is, why it is important to know, where it can be found, etc. We also dive deep into what now are everyday toxins, where can we find them, how can we avoid them. And we also dive a little bit deeper into how do people actually know if they have been impacted by everyday toxins or glyphosate and more.

[00:01:40] And what are now the symptoms that we can. observe in our bodies. And obviously, we'll also go into what are some of Susanna's easy tips and tricks on preventing being affected and how to support the body. When you have encountered toxins, and is there a way to support your body out of that damage? And this has just been such an enlightening episode for me, and Susannah holds so much wisdom in this field.

[00:02:10] And I really hope that she can enlighten you as much as she has enlightened me, and really support you on your journey for a toxin free lifestyle. Enjoy listening, and let us know if you have any questions. Any concerns? We're always here to help. And definitely let us know what you thought of this episode.

[00:02:30] Enjoy listening.

[00:03:37] Susana Puebles: I'm so happy to be here. Thank you for having me.

[00:03:41] Iris Josephina: You're welcome. So, we have a lot of interesting topics to cover today, but before we dive in, I really would love to know your story.

[00:03:52] And how you decided or came onto the path of being a functional Chinese medicine practitioner and acupuncturist, I'm curious to know how that came to be. Sure, absolutely. I've been in healthcare for over 20 years, and I started in my teen years actually working for a Western OBGYN. And I was in the back room assisting doing surgeries and medications and, and it was very, very interesting.

[00:04:21] And I thought that that was my path. I enjoyed it. I had ample work and he was retiring and the doctor became my mentor and said, you know, what are you going to do with your life? And I said this, and I wanted to have that path. So in my journey of doing that. I eventually burned out and I didn't know I was burnt out.

[00:04:46] You know, you're young, you keep going, you keep going and going, and you just kind of deal with your everyday things because you have so much energy. And one of my friends eventually told me, you know, you need to come and see my friend. And I said, why? She said, you know, you, you just, maybe you'll be happier.

[00:05:07] Maybe, you know, it's just. I had a lot of mood swings back in the day. And so, um, she just said, you know, why don't you just go see my friend? And her friend happened to be an acupuncturist. And I had been in healthcare for a while and I've never heard of Chinese medicine. I'd never heard of acupuncture, nothing was totally blank.

[00:05:27] And so she had. been into, um, holistic healings for a really long time. She's older than me and this was her world and I never understood it. And so when she said, come see my friends, I said, Oh gosh, what are you going to get my, get me into? And she said, all right, it's my treat. It's my treat. And then so I went to see her friend and it turned out to be a doctor of Chinese medicine and acupuncturist and I spent an hour and a half with her and I just sat there and answered every single question she had asked me for 40 minutes, which was To me, really unrecognizable because I had been in clinic and we give people five minutes to talk, right?

[00:06:13] And we don't even ask people, how's your period? How do you feel? How are your mood swings? What about your digestion? Do you poop every day? Do you, how much water intake? Basic life questions. I was not able to answer and it just blew my mind. Then I had an acupuncture treatment and I left and I was so happy, ecstatic.

[00:06:38] I went back to get more treatments and I had a great time and then one, one day after a couple of weeks, I called Barbara, the acupuncturist, and I said, I don't know what it is you do, what you did to me, but I need to learn this stuff and can I come follow you? She's come on over tomorrow and she put me to work.

[00:06:58] I've always had these opportunities with people that just say, Come in and they throw you in. It can't happen now because of regulations, but I've always had these situations and Barbara was one of them. She's like, come on in. And then the next day I followed her around. I saw her putting needles and people, and she said, take them out and do this and do this.

[00:07:17] I said, okay, well, how do I do this legally, you know, and she said four years of acupuncture school. And that's, I started that year, I just threw myself into it and it was a whole new world for me completely. And I never looked back and I've been so excited about it since. And then when I've started my clinical work, I always just wanted to work with women and womb health, because I knew Western medicine has.

[00:07:45] It's stuff, it's protocols. And then I just wanted to address those with what I knew now, which was at the time, Chinese medicine, herbs and nutrition. And that's how my practice in Chinese medicine started. And, of course, I've treated thousands of people for pain, but my love is womb health and fertility and making sure women don't need to cut out fibroids and have these surgeries.

[00:08:14] And we can just do this with herbs and nutrition and lifestyle and detoxification and all of these things that ended up working. And that's how I've run with it. And that's how I've modified my life. My life is my practice, as well as now what I share in clinic with my clients. Beautiful. What a beautiful story and how incredible that you got these opportunities to basically be an intern with these really qualified people.

[00:08:44] Like, that's not something that As you say that we hear now, I mean back in the day it was probably way easier to intern. It was. Like I said, I was talking to a friend about my experience working for the doctor. And she said, you know that could never ever happen now. And I said, I know. I was in clinic and I was thinking about the things I was doing and the things I had seen.

[00:09:14] And if I had a daughter and she came to me and said, this is my work right now at a as seven, as a 17-year-old, I would have a serious problem with it because there's things that sometimes teenagers are not ready to see. And looking back on it, I'm almost 50. If I had a daughter as a teenager, I would be worried.

[00:09:37] It's what? I used to see now. And so I've, and it's, it's interesting how I'm processing all of these experiences that I've had and yeah, you could not get this kind of training right now, it would take years and years and years. And so I've always had this experience in terms of work and where my path has led and my personal journey, especially with fertility was more of a personal one.

[00:09:59] I had already been in clinic. For years helping women. And when I was having trouble conceiving, I said, wait, wait, what's happening here? You know, I have this holistic lifestyle. I'm an acupuncturist. I'm doing herbs and it's my life, but why am I having trouble? And I finally conceived and I had Coley stasis.

[00:10:19] So I was in high risk complications. My liver was failing and I said, wait, what is happening? And again, Western doctor says, no, it's not you. It's your genetics. It'll go away once you have the baby. And it did, but I was at high risk and it was a very high stress situation. And even that experience now has led me more to give more to my clients because I would never want anybody to experience what I had gone through during a pregnancy.

[00:10:51] It's I just have developed that empathy. And so I think as any practitioner in this type of medicine, we bring all of that to our patients. And that's why people see us differently. Yeah, I agree with that. And I think also because you've been in the, in the medical clinical setting, you also have seen like, okay, what is missing here?

[00:11:15] What could be brought to the table? And then you could implement that into your own practice and your own clinic. And it's such a fortunate place to be in. I'm glad you got to have these experiences. Me too. Yeah, absolutely. It's very, very true. And I tell people, even with these high tech machines in the clinics that you see and ultrasounds and things like that, especially for women's health.

[00:11:39] Protocols haven't changed in almost 20, 30 years. Mm-hmm . That I've been out of medicine, and still, if anything's wrong with a teenager or you have any pain, period, pain or pimples or mood swings, take some birth control. It's still the same. And here's some hormone replacement. If you're in perimenopause or.

[00:11:58] If you have fibroids, let's just cut them out. Then you won't have to deal with them anymore. It's all the same. It is all the same. There are some MDs that are turning to functional medicine, trying to learn nutrition, few and far between. It's, it's a more systemic approach. Yeah. You mentioned earlier that your passion is really fertility and the womb and womb cycles.

[00:12:23] That's also the topic that we're going to mainly focus on for today. And we agreed to talk about toxins and how do toxins impact our bodies? What are toxins? Could you elaborate on that? Like if we're talking about the relationship between fertility and toxins, what, what do you consider everyday toxins and where can they be found?

[00:12:48] And how do we like. get in contact with

[00:12:51] Susana Puebles: them?. The link between fertility and our health in general is huge with toxins. I am a proponent of there is no conversation about hormones or health balance without talking about toxins because our hormones, our little endocrine glands, every single, especially our glands.

[00:13:16] They're enticed by toxins. Toxins love them. They're like magnets. Okay, so our environment is Loaded with toxins so many hundreds of thousands that we just can't even keep up anymore And with hormones and fertility, number one reasons we're seeing low AMH, unexplained infertility, low sperm count, poor egg quality at 30?

[00:13:43] Not normal. These are exposure issues to toxins. So we clearly can't talk about millions of them, but the ones I like to talk about that we do have some serious control over is our day to day, what you do every single day, take a minute to look, just write down what you eat, what you touch, how, what you're cooking in, what you're bathing in, what you're drinking, this is what you can control.

[00:14:12] So I like to talk about glyphosate, which is. It's a pesticide, the number one pesticide used in America, actually. I think in some European countries it's banned, but in America it is not. And so 80 percent of our toxic exposure comes from your food and water. So that's a really great place to start talking about toxins that you can control.

[00:14:39] Food and water, right? You're already trying to eat healthier. You're already trying to make subtle changes in your life. This is what you can do. As basic as it sounds, it's still not enough. We have to eat organic because in America. It's this glyphosate is a weed killer. It is the number one ingredient found in Roundup, which is a weed killer that everybody can go to their hardware store right now and buy.

[00:15:10] And there's thousands, tens of thousands of lawsuits on the docket. They. Monsanto Bayer just actually lost a huge lawsuit and I think they have to pay out some 50 billion in damages right now. It just happened two weeks ago. And it's because this toxin is proven to cause non Hodgkin's lymphoma and other exposure cancers and diseases.

[00:15:39] Infertility being one of them because your cells, your egg cells and your sperm cells, those are cells and these toxins. They eat them up,

[00:15:48] they

[00:15:48] Iris Josephina: eat them up, and so over time it's a buildup. So where you can find most of the glyphosate exposure is in your food and in your water. High foods are oats, wheat, corn, soy, wine, cotton.

[00:16:04] Those are the basics. So you want to either get those organic or take, take some out of your diet. And with cotton, you want to make sure you're not using tampons. that are not, that are regular. It has to be organic cotton, things like that to bring into your awareness. And then water. Water is huge. Yes, in America, people can drink tap water, but that doesn't mean it's safe.

[00:16:32] There's heavy metals. There's fluoride. There's every single medication that everybody else is on that you're not on. You're bathing in it. You're drinking it if you drink tap water. So these are these huge exposures and believe it or not, I still have clients that drink tap water and me that because it's my life to know this stuff, I think it's a basic issue that we just address food and water.

[00:16:58] If you don't address anything else, yeah. Okay. And then those are that glyphosate and the pesticides are huge. They are affecting and changing our physical biology. Believe it or not, it's been 30 years. of this uptick, the more we grow food, the more we spray, the more we're seeing more diabetes, more heart disease, more obesity, more infertility, more low sperm count.

[00:17:25] These are not genetic changes in our species. That's way too fast. So it is an environmental exposure. What are we exposed to? More and more pesticides, more and more plastics. Plastics are another one. Plastics stay in your fat cells and they attract more fat. So when women can't lose weight, it's not for lack of trying or they're eating the wrong things.

[00:17:51] Maybe that's an obvious thing, but if you're not, it's because there is too much toxicity in your fat cells that we have to address and then have them melt away. But that's not an easy process. We have to go to the basics, food and water. Then there's metals, everyday metals. And where I see this showing up a lot is thyroid issues, fibroids, endometriosis.

[00:18:18] Those are huge when I test my patients with these specific imbalances, the metals are through the roof, cadmium exposure, high copper exposure, high aluminum. And so these again are coming through specifically the water with the metals. And so. Toxins are affecting our hormone balance and the way our bodies are physically changing and adapting to the environment.

[00:18:49] So the increase in diseases and infertility including, included as one of them is a direct response of just how toxic our bigger environment is. We're biological creatures, so our bodies are biologically responding to A very poisonous environment. Oh my god, every time I hear this, I get so concerned. I mean, I know it.

[00:19:11] I work with fertility. I work with people with menstrual cycles. But every time I hear someone talk about it, I'm like, yeah, it's really bad. You think it's not bad, but it's bad. I know. I know. When I talk about it, I want to get to a place where I'm not a gloom and doom person. This stuff excites me because.

[00:19:32] It's really interesting. This is where my work has taken me to become like an environmental, you know, have this environmental awareness, but we can't just say you have a hormone imbalance and here's some birth control for it, right? Birth control, in my opinion, is another toxin that we're adding to the body, right?

[00:19:51] If the body's already stretched thin. And so this is controllable. That's why I say do not think about it as you have to join a nonprofit and try to get these corporations to clean up their act. This is not what, what this is about. This is about, you are gonna have a new level of awareness and you can really control what is around you in your home and what your body is reacting to and make it stronger.

[00:20:21] What I tell my clients. Is I'm just going to help you set your body up to cleanse and purify and do what it does on a daily basis faster and better than the toxins that are coming in because they're going to come in. But your body's going to be like, okay, out, out, you know, catch and release, catch and release.

[00:20:46] And it's totally plausible and doable. Yeah, so how do people know that they are affected by toxins? What are the things we can expect our bodies to do and how to respond when there is a specific like toxin issue going on? Like what can people experience? Sure. I mean, everyday symptoms are going to come and go.

[00:21:12] So it's about kind of noticing a pattern. So skin stuff is a really obvious overloaded toxin person, toxic person. So eczema, psoriasis, even acne. These are signs that something's trying to come out through the skin, and it's usually some heavy metal or viral component. When we talk about toxins, especially the glyphosate, the pesticides, the plastics, the metals, the forever chemicals, when they come in our body, they activate what's already in there biologically.

[00:21:48] The viruses, the bacteria, the fungus. Those are normal in our body. But when they're getting this food from all of this toxin overload, the viruses, the fungus and the bacteria, they have a field day. So they explode and then that can show up in a really bad cystic acne breakout, right? So women with fibroids and endo or really painful periods, as you know, they might have really bad skin or PCOS.

[00:22:17] They have bad skin, and so Western is giving birth control to stop the periods, but it's more of a toxicity issue. So skin stuff is really kind of gives us the obvious, which is the worst because we don't want people to see our bad skin, but it's a really clear sign that there's a lot of toxic overload activating some imbalanced bacteria and viruses that we need to address.

[00:22:42] Anemia. Yeah. Believe it or not, anemia is a really huge sign for me, especially in women's health. And it's like, no, it's not because you don't eat enough beef or you're not having enough iron. It could be, you know, glyphosate. And aluminum block your cells from oxygenating.

[00:23:03] Susana Puebles: Mm.

[00:23:04] Iris Josephina: And so that in a long, long ways can, can cause anemia over the long term.

[00:23:10] And then yeah, you, you might be eating meat, you might be eating, you know, vitamin B12 foods to nourish yourself, but with the glyphosate, that clears out your gut. You're not absorbing any of it. So eventually you're not creating these red blood cells and you become anemic. And a lot of people tell me that that's the first time they've heard that.

[00:23:32] And you know, it's not just about throwing an iron pill at somebody that's anemic. For me, that's a sign of there's a toxicity component to somebody that we need to address. Obviously poor egg quality, poor sperm quality. For me, And everybody listening, it's an exposure issue, especially a metals issue, lack of absorption.

[00:23:54] So you're not creating enough nutrient dense cells to create good egg quality. There's too much gunk blocking the plumbing there. Fibroids and endo and any cyst, anything that's in the womb that shouldn't be there other than a baby growing is a clear sign to me of a toxic. exposure. And fibroids affects more minority women, especially in America.

[00:24:21] And I see that more with them. And it is a transgenerational problem. They've been exposed to, you know, environments with high levels of spraying in the air or DDT that was banned in the sixties. It's still in the womb. It's still in our environment. And so fibroids are not just because you have too much estrogen in your system, which is what the Western literature says that benign tumor is feeding off of something.

[00:24:49] So it's usually some viral toxin component in there. And thyroid imbalances are all toxic exposures to me. So just about anything that has a label in Western medicine is a clear sign to anybody that Yeah, there's a hormone imbalance like diabetes your blood sugar's off, but there's definitely a toxic Component to it that needs to be addressed.

[00:25:17] Yeah. Thank you for sharing that and I hope that You know, people listening will take something away from this and maybe start observing their complaints a little bit differently. Because it is, as you say, like Western medicine often looks at what we are experiencing in our bodies so, like, one sided, just from one perspective.

[00:25:39] But there are so many ways in which we can address and explain what is happening in our bodies. Usually, it's not one thing. No, it's never. Usually, it's a combination of many things. So, yeah, thank you for sharing that. It's never one thing. If we're looking at a thyroid imbalance, I look at 20 or 30 root causes.

[00:26:02] Susana Puebles: Hmm.

[00:26:02] Iris Josephina: Right? When I look at a woman with thyroid that's trying to get pregnant, I look at 20 or 30 root causes. And that is why we call it a holistic approach. It's not just, okay, let's just schedule you for a myoectomy, cut out those fibroids. And then in six months you can start trying. No, well, what, wait, what happened to the scar tissue that we have to deal with?

[00:26:27] What happened to, you know, what's causing the fibroid in the first place? And those are 20 to 30 root causes at a minimum. And, you know, even myself, my, with my experience, I laugh about this. It's so simple. When my friend told me, you know, why don't you come see my friend who was an acupuncturist? It was because I was very moody.

[00:26:49] You know, I was burnt out. I didn't know how to eat anything. And, you know, my favorite food at the time. With cut up strawberries, with a can of condensed milk, and I sprinkled powdered sugar on top of the strawberries. Okay. That was my favorite meal. And so aside from, you know, anything from the freezer.

[00:27:14] And so if somebody would have sat down, well, like somebody did eventually and told me, you know, maybe your blood sugar is what causes your mood swings to go up and down rather than put me on five years of birth control. As I was on, things would have been different down the line with my own, you know, mood and my own hormonal health and my skin and my fertility.

[00:27:40] So this is the awareness everybody needs to cultivate. It's not just treating a patient and helping them get pregnant and help giving them herbs to help you sleep or get pregnant or, you know, eliminate your fibroids. It's about helping you on your journey to create and cultivate this awareness that you can have fun with and just learn how to just live in an everyday that's not so stressed and if you are stressed, you can deal with it and be okay with it and then tomorrow will be another day.

[00:28:12] So it's more of a lifestyle medicine at this point. Yeah. And I think that is also something that works on the long term because people will start feeling that the changes that they make actually work and then they create agency and then they feel what they're doing is supporting them and then it's also empowering them.

[00:28:31] So I really love this holistic approach because it really gives the power back to the person in the body. And we're just basically holding their hand and supporting them. It's basically everything, you know, all of your experience and all of my experience, my 20 years of learning this and being in it, and then just giving it as a gift to somebody else.

[00:28:55] And then they give it to their family or their children. And then that's how we create next levels of society and awareness. I look at the bigger picture. So now I'm looking at the environment and what we could do about this. And then the next level, and we have to evolve as every generation has to be healthier and smarter.

[00:29:17] The last couple decades have not gone in that direction in terms of health, especially in America. And so we need some, some warriors out there to really take that back and, and I know, 'cause all my patients tell me, why didn't I meet you 10 years ago? Why didn't my doctor ever talk to me about this?

[00:29:37] Susana Puebles: Mm-hmm.

[00:29:38] Iris Josephina: I get it all the time and I'm sure you do. And everybody who's a healer out there and it's fine. They meet us now where they are. Some people are not ready to hear this. Hmm, that's true. I agree. But for the people who are ready, what are some. Easy tips and tricks to, one, prevent being affected by these everyday toxins, and how to support the body when you have been.

[00:30:10] Affected. Sure. Because I think people are probably wondering like, whoa, if I'm experiencing this, like what can I do? Chill. Okay. , first and foremost, relax. Right? We wanna do things that are within our control and we don't need to stress out anything anymore. So, like I said. I always tell my clients, just stick with your everyday routine.

[00:30:34] What it is that you do. Do you wake up and, you know, shower? Okay, first thing, do you have a shower filter? Like I said, up to 80 percent of most of our toxic exposure comes from our food and water. Start there. Doesn't have to be complicated. So, look at your water. Is it really good water? Is it filtered? Do you have a water filtration system?

[00:31:01] Invest in one. Specifically one that removes fluoride. I don't know if in Europe. You fluoridate anymore, but in America we do some countries. Yes, and that's about to change. I think here it's about to change So we need to invest in a really great water filtration system that eliminates the toxins on top of fluoride Okay, Brita or Brita water filters are not enough.

[00:31:25] Those do not Eliminate any of the toxins and I have most of my clients come in. They're like I'm using Oh Refrigerator filter or a Brita filter. And I have to break it to them that they've been exposed this whole time.

[00:31:42] Susana Puebles: And so

[00:31:42] Iris Josephina: we really have to invest in something that basic. Then we look at the shower, shower, filter 30 easy.

[00:31:49] Okay. And then. What are you eating? I like to say eat organic, but sometimes that's not enough. Try to eat without things being packaged in plastic. So whole food, plant based plus beef and chicken and whole meats from as locally sourced as possible would be my go to. You really have to invest in your food and your water.

[00:32:17] It's the most basic thing that we can do. And organic is not that expensive if it's coming in the form of whole food, it's the organic cookies and the organic cereals. That stuff's expensive, but we don't need to be eating all of that all the time. Right? So stick with the food and the water. And public service announcement.

[00:32:38] Stop drinking plastic water bottles. I still see this, especially in yoga classes and in a hot yoga class too. And you know, that plastic is leaching into that water because we're at 94 degrees here. So no more plastic water bottles for your health. Those are estrogenic. They are changing your biology, your hormones.

[00:33:02] Thanks. And we can enhance your body by simply focusing on one thing other than first, it's eliminating your exposure. So that's your, your basic every day. So that's 80 percent there. That's huge. And then to start fixing up the organs or the, what I call reverse decades of damage to the organs in the poor glands.

[00:33:22] That's when you might need a little bit of help, especially with the metals and seeing how exposed you've been, because you can start to leach them out. It can take three to six months to two years, but this is where you're need a little bit of, you know, maybe testing or handholding. to see what will help you.

[00:33:44] Like the fulvic acids are really good. Chlorella spirulina, the algaes are really good, but we have to see where you're at. So this is going to be a little bit more functional and approach. And you can always, always benefit from Chaga mushroom or Rishi mushroom safe across the board with whatever anybody's dealing with.

[00:34:06] I always go to the mushrooms. Um, I don't even see their mushrooms. I just feel like they're like longevity tonics. I love fertility because it's about dealing with longevity and anti aging and Chaga and Rishi not only help you do that, but they help you do that because they help with everything I've said.

[00:34:28] They help you clear toxins. They help your liver work better to clear these toxins. They are antivirals. So again, remember these toxins feed these viruses. So they help your immune system really dampen down that viral load that may be causing your thyroid or other things to be imbalanced or your glands to not operate appropriately.

[00:34:51] So the mushrooms are not a trend. They are not this superfood. They are essential in our daily life. And they've been around for millennia for a reason. So that's what I would do at a basic safe level. Amazing. Thank you for sharing that. And I love how you start with the basics and what is easy for people.

[00:35:17] Because so many people are like, oh, change everything, but for a lot of people that's not possible. And I love how you just start with the day to day basics. You need to drink water, you need to eat every single day. So start there. Yeah. Start there. And just, everybody can adjust what they can eat little by little.

[00:35:39] You know, and um, These are the prescriptions for life, but they have to be very individualized. Yeah, I was also wondering about skin care, like day to day skin care. Could you maybe share a little bit about that before we close off? Sure. And so that's been a huge movement. And so a lot of companies are saying sulfate free, BPA free.

[00:36:05] And so there is a movement in avoiding the toxic chemicals in skincare, but surprisingly it's only 8 percent of our toxic exposure. So that doesn't give you a pass in my book to get back on toxic chemicals either way, but skincare is huge. So again, You don't really need to do too much. A basic cleanser that is all, you know, BPA free that doesn't stay on your skin.

[00:36:34] So you have a little bit of leeway with that.

[00:36:37] Susana Puebles: Nothing

[00:36:38] Iris Josephina: with fragrance, every, anything that says fragrance, if it's not essential oil based, do not use it. It's simple, simple, no sulfates, no parabens and no fragrance. On your skin, simple as that. It's the makeup that usually is more of a toxic exposure for women.

[00:37:01] The foundations, the bright pigments, especially the like the glittery type shimmery eyeshadows and shimmer bronzers. Those are all very, very toxic in heavy metals, especially aluminum cadmium. You do not want these on your skin, so you have to give up some of that every once in a while, you know Every once in a while, it's forgiving like if you're a model and you have a photo shoot Okay, that it'll be gone in a day or two, right?

[00:37:34] But um every day we have to look into how much foundation are you using and switch it out switch it out to? One that is it's not just about cruelty free. That's not what we're talking about. It's about phthalate and heavy metal exposure. And those are huge for your hormones. So I like companies that are really, really aware of those in America.

[00:37:59] I think there's a Gabriel's or mineral foundations, things like that. So in terms of skin, look at what sits on your skin all day. And

[00:38:11] Susana Puebles: if

[00:38:13] Iris Josephina: you don't know what to adjust, just stick with the basics, fragrance, they still put aluminum in women's and men's deodorant. So that's a huge no, no. So look for aluminum and fragrance in your deodorant and your man's take those out.

[00:38:32] Anything that smells fruity and fresh and, you know, like potpourri, you don't want to smell that. You don't want that on your body. And so there's certain companies that we really want to eliminate from our internal lifestyle in our homes, but anything that sits on your skin, you need to address. And before we close off, is there any final wisdom or things that you would like to share with our listeners?

[00:39:01] Well, you know, if you're interested in this work or herbs, I do have a free download on my website. And so you can go and see those resources and other resources I have for free to kind of delve into more of what, how the toxins from specific foods and things like that get into your system. Also just concentrate on making sure you're purifying every single day with what we've given you here as a gift.

[00:39:31] Because the toxins are going to come in, but you can always empower yourself and strengthen up your system to get rid of them and enjoy your everyday, whatever you may be dealing with. It can be resolved naturally. I really want to make sure people understand that. That it's most. We, an environmental exposure that has hit your peak and now your body's asking you for some help and we're all out here to help and support you.
